WOW... its been very long time since my last post... wew... i didn't even reliazed i haven't touch my blog again since then.. time... time... time... they just can't wait, and they wont he he.. well so many tnigs happend till now... but hey ...

Jeraena : cos if i start without Him then everyting does not go on well
Jeraena : but when i start with Him, to read His word and pray then He helps me through the
day and see things from His view and even when things don't seem to go on well yet
He helps me manage and go through it
Jeraena : God helps me through it as He speaks to me
Jeraena : sometimes we are just so busy that we forget to pause and to take time and listen to
GOD
Jeraena : then we get confused becos we hear so many voices sometimes from different people
who are no christians also

Jeraena : but when we do it with GOD it is so smooth and we have the peace even in the midst
of difficulties. remember how He has carried you through difficult situations in the
past. our God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. so hang on to HIm. He will
never fail you

NOT BY MY OWN STRENGTH...

Jeremiah 17:5-8
17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Usually i plan my future based on my strength, what can i do, what can i made, my work, my financial status, because basicly i'm a hardworking person so i always thought that if i want to have great and better future, i must work harder, study harder. I know it isn't wrong if i want to become better and better again in my life but i realized that i do that without GOD's contribution, as if i won't let Him to control my life...

rite now i want to give all my rights, my future, my strength, my dreams before Him. and let Him manage my life...

STRENGTH vs WEAKNESS

My Weakness:

- Don't have strong will

- Hard to change mission into action

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

PERCAYA PADA-NYA

BIL 13:1-33

Dari 12 pengintai yang disuruh musa untuk mengamati tanah perjanjian, hanya 2 orang yang memiliki pandangan berbeda dari apa yang sebenarnya mereka lihat. Mereka adalah Kaleb bin Yefune dari suku Yehuda, dan Hosea bin Nun dari suku Efraim yang kemudian dinamai Yosua oleh Musa. Kaleb dan Yosua tidak memperdulikan atau takut dengan halangan2 yang ada di depan mata mereka dalam usahanya untuk mencapai tanah kanaan, yaitu tanah perjanjian yang akan diberikan Allah kepada Israel. Kaleb dan Yosua tetap percaya akan janji Tuhan dan memegang teguh janji Tuhan. Itu yang menyebabkan mereka tidak takut akan setiap tantangan dan rintangan yang mereka hadapi.

Seperti Kaleb dan Yosua, saya juga mau belajar untuk tetap percaya pada janji-Nya meskipun kelihatannya mustahil untuk dicapai, tapi biar rencana dan janjinya yang tetap terjadi.

BECAUSE OF YOU

Your mission is to live your life.

In 1 Corinthians 7, Paul the apostle addresses believers who are married to unbelievers, and outlines a general rule that if the unbelieving spouse chooses to stay in the marriage, it would be good for the believer to stay, too. He gives two reasons for this: one, the children will have a godly influence through the believing parent, and two, the unbeliever may be converted "because of you" (1 Corinthians 7:16). (Exceptions to this rule would of course be situations of abuse and endangerment of a spouse or child.)

Just what does he mean by "because of you," I wonder? Does it mean you are on a personal crusade to save your spouse? Does it mean that you will preach the gospel to your spouse at every possible opportunity? Does it mean you will turn your house into a religious institution that coerces your spouse to either put up with Christianity or leave? No, it doesn't mean any of these things.

It means simply what it says: "...because of you..." because of who you are, because of how you live, because of the way your faith affects everything you do, because of the way you carry on your life, because of the reality of Christ in your life. That's it. No more; but certainly, no less. Paul is suggesting that living your life with a sense of purpose that comes from your faith in God is enough to convert someone.

It occurs to me that this could be applied to all believers in relation to life in the world among people with whom we work and associate who are not believers. General rule: don't leave the world. (Where would you go, anyway?) Stay in the world - in relationships with unbelievers - for the chance that someone may be converted "because of you."

We are not on a crusade; we are on a mission to live our lives according to God's purposes. When we do that, we make possible an environment of change where a person who does not have a meaningful relationship with God might become curious about someone who does. "Because of you" is a statement of subtle influence, not coercion, and in the context of Paul's advice in 1 Corinthians 7, it is a steady influence over time, as would be implied by a marriage. There's nothing complex or even premeditated about a "because of you" influence. This is a believer going about the process of believing; and this is an unbeliever going over their life with a microscope, observing the good, the bad and the ugly. Doesn't matter if God is there.

Thought for the day: Don't ever sell short what God can do "because of you."

PATIENT

2 SAM 16:5-14

Kesabaran emang bukan hal yang ada pada setiap orang, apalagi Raja. Gambaran seorang Raja yang ada di benakku adalah Sombong, Besar Kepala, Semena2… tapi Daud mematahkan pandangan itu karena dia adalah seorang hamba yang taat kepada Alllah.

Saya belajar untuk lebih bersabar terhadap orang yang memperlakukan saya secara tidak adil, atau bahkan merendahkan saya. Ya, saya mengalaminya minggu2 ini. Dan saya rasa saya sudah mencapai batas kesabaran saya… memang sakit kalau direndahkan, sangat sakit tapi saya mau belajar dari Daud dan Yesus sendiri yang tetap sabar sampai Allah turun tangan sendiri dan meberikan keadilan tiu kepada mereka… Saya percaya Tuhan tetap ada di pihak orang2 yang takut dan setia pada-Nya.

"In the biggest disaster that happened in my life, I believe GOD still gives a small HOPE to me. It is our part to make it bigger and bigger and bigger again and transform it into Victory so that it can defeat our disaster."

MEMBERI

2 KOR 8:1-24

Pemberian persembahan tidak selalu diukur dari materi/uang, tetapi juga dari diri kita sendiri. Jemaat di Makedonia bukan hanya sekedar memberikan materi/uang yang mereka mliki tetapi juga hidup mereka untuk pelayanan orang-orang kudus. Itu sebabnya mereka menjadi jemaat yang sangat diberkati Tuhan.

(8:7 Maka sekarang, sama seperti kamu kaya dalam segala sesuatu, -- dalam iman, dalam perkataan, dalam pengetahuan, dalam kesungguhan untuk membantu, dan dalam kasihmu terhadap kami -- demikianlah juga hendaknya kamu kaya dalam pelayanan kasih ini.)

Dan hanya kasih karunia Tuhan yang dapat kita teladani, karena Dia telah memberikan hidupnya. Dia menjadi miskin supaya kita kaya. -> 8:9 Karena kamu telah mengenal kasih karunia Tuhan kita Yesus Kristus, bahwa Ia, yang oleh karena kamu menjadi miskin, sekalipun Ia kaya, supaya kamu menjadi kaya oleh karena kemiskinan-Nya.

Berilah sesuai kapasitas yang Tuhan percayakan kepadamu, bukan di luar daripadamu. Dan memberi bukan berarti kita meringankan beban merka tetapi supata ada keseimbangan. Kita memberi supaya mencukupkan kekurangan mereka, dan supaya pemberian mereka mencukupkan kekurangan kita.

Saya belajar untuk tetap memberi dari apa pun yang ada padamu, meskipun kau sedang kekurangan. Sebab "Orang yang mengumpulkan banyak, tidak kelebihan dan orang yang mengumpulkan sedikit, tidak kekurangan". Tuhan selalu setia menjaga dan memelihara kita anak2-nya

"Jika satu kesalahan terus menerus diakui sebagai kebenaran, maka kesalahan itu akan menjadi kebenaran dalam benak orang tersebut."
